Toby’s three tone fox!

When we come down in the mornings, the children are usually always busying themselves.
Toby found this in the craft paper box and had coloured it.
Libby was making a Friendship Book out of a small box, with the lid cut away. Then she folded a piece of cardboard to stick around it, so it was like a book which opened into a small box. The inside of the lid had names of all her closest friends in Bristol, which were decorated.
On the back she had written
“A book full of memory’s and presents from my freinds.
No matter how far apart, we will always be conected with love. “
I have left the spellings as they were.
The two train sets were already out.
The small Duplo and the larger collected Brio, busily being used.
It’s a beautiful warm sunny afternoon and the family have gone out for a walk.
They haven’t found anywhere yet to rent.
We’ll be sitting down this evening when the children have gone up to bed to have a talk about what happens next.
So thankful for praying friends who message, offering Stephen and myself either spaces in their homes or gardens, just to have a bit of time to unwind and recharge.
And in one lovely gesture the offer of a day out at Baddesley Clinton.
I wasn’t well midweek, which resulted in a visit to a Nurse practitioner, then antibiotics.
I had my flu jab on Thursday morning as well.
So I’ve not been firing on all cylinders!
Itching to tidy the garden borders, but there isn’t much point yet, with all that’s happening.
It’s a day at a time.
There’s been a group of Long Tailed Tits in the garden, flitting about the shrubs and trees with their tinkling sounds.
And a couple of nuthatches.
My camera isn’t working at the moment so it’s a bit frustrating not being able to catch any of them in a zoomed shot.
Everything is still.
The daily load of washing is hanging limply on the lines.
We’re all going to watch “Strictly Come Dancing” this evening with the kids allowed to go to bed later.
That will be fun.
