(That was the 2019 race and weather the same as today). You can see how beautiful the surrounding area of Bray is.

Extra shows the race starting - it’s a long one. There was great craic at the start as all those runners are meeting up again after lockdown so a good atmosphere.

I looked into Joe at the fish shop and bought some lemon sole. The market purchases were just coming in and I spotted these congers waiting to go on the ice display cabinet. Hey Joe, what does conger taste like. No no no Jean you would not like it, I cannot sell it you - it’s too strong for you and he was laughing. But now I am curious so will have to buy some soon to try it.

It is my grand-daughter’s Confirmation Day and we will go to a little gathering to celebrate with her this afternoon.

On ITV4 this evening we have a treat of Gunfight at the OK Corral - I will be watching. I like classic westerns
