Thames barge on the Swale
What a brilliant day yesterday was, it was warm, the sun shone and there was not a cloud in the sky. We went over to Faversham and did a 6 mile circular walk, out by the Swale river to a little pub where we had lunch and a beer before continuing around back into the town to pick up the car and home to Deal. We walked back into town for a meal at a local restaurant and then home to bed suitably tired.
As we were leaving the pub this graceful old boat (a Thames barge) came past on its way up to Faversham.
