At Last!

On this beautiful autumn day, my dear friend Endless Weekend and I were at last together in person, after almost two years!

She and her husband Doug are visiting another Bellingham friend, Bruce, and the five of us -- plus Hamish, of course -- had a lovely afternoon sitting on our deck, catching up on each others' lives in a way that phone calls, emails, and texts just can't match.

I'm deeply grateful for the lovely photo she took of Phil, Hamish, and me, which you can see on her journal. It's wonderful to have an artist take a family photo of us!
