denial is no policy

WFH in the morning. Joined the Global Climate Strike outside the Scottish Parliament for the global climate strike. It's been ages since I've been on a protest. It was a good day to restart that habit, no rain, plenty of sunshine and warmth. Kind of ironic we are protesting about climate change. The kids were absolutely amazing. They are articulate, cut through the bullshit and call out the problems by their name We need system change. It was very encouraging but I do hope they keep their desire for change. It is possible. Spent the afternoon in the beer garden for a union social. We were a little lopsided but it was lovely seeing people and having a chat in the real world.
