Pesky wasp!

I drove to the refuge this morning, a little later than usual but the excitement of seeing the Sand Hill Cranes are back!  They were so far out there in the fields I didn't really even try for a shot.  I also saw the coyote pup but again too far away.  I had a long chat with a photographer that had some great tips for me to use at the refuge.  I was just going around the last turn thinking that it was the first time something hadn't shown up for a photo, when this heron caught my eye.  I thought it was flies buzzing it when I took the photo but it is definitely wasps.
