Courgette flower

We have had to love courgette flowers this year as our five plants have only produced one 15 cm courgette between them. We tried a climbing variety, grown in pots in our paved yard and can't claim it was a success in terms of edible produce. The foliage and flowers (nearly all male) have been ok though.
