Gone to bed is the setting sun

A quick change of planned blip tonight. From our kitchen window in Elie we could see the beginnings of the sunset so it was a quick off with the slippers on with the trainers then onto the bike and a short cycle along to the end of the road.

The flags and mast belong to an old wooden boat which has been turned into a planter ….. always looks its best in summer.

A fine ending to our few days through in Elie. The weather has been super, the garden has been partially tamed, trimmed and tidied and we are heading back home tomorrow.
