A five-thirty start because, frankly, I'm not paying fifteen quid - the 'congestion charge' - just to drive out of London. 

... which saw me back in Salford just after ten o'clock, at which point I crashed out for a couple of hours before going for a swim.

And after that I had some lunch with the Minx before wandering down The Crescent to Hannah's new flat. When I saw it three days ago it was just a space but with the help of her mum and one of her sisters (Charlie), she's transformed it into a home.
