Coffee date. Great Americano at Offshore on Gibson Street. Really strong and yummy. I was buzzing. Great set up for playgroup!!

M had his first foray into hot beverage consumption. His first 'babychino': warm frothy milk topped with chocolate powder for the uninitiated. He was mostly impressed with the spoon and cup. Lots of timbres were explored before I removed it in fear that I would be paying for this new musical instrument.

Feels like such a luxury to have only one son at a time. M fell asleep in the car after nursery pick up and then went straight down in his cot with coat on and everything for a good hour nap. So C and I got quality time over lunch.

C made M a birthday card at nursery. A card for M's second birthday - in eleven months time!! Cs teachers were puzzled as to why M only looks just past one ... lots of knowing smiles when they discovered that big brother just likes to prepare in advance - waaaay in advance. :)

Finishing off the afternoon with some (very needed) practice. Good day!
