Ready to Serve

Lynne Beattie, half of the Scottish Beach Volleyball team in action this afternoon on Portobello Beach in the Commonwealth Games qualifier tournament. Lynne, and her partner Mel Coutts, train on Portobello Beach and started their tournament with a 2-0 win over Wales. Seeing some of the action in the other game, in which Cyprus easily won the first set against Northern Ireland, it looks like the games between Scotland and Cyprus will determine which women's pairing will go to Birmingham next year. There is also a men's competition going on at the same time.
