Tired Eyes

It wasn't a good night for sleeping and woke at about 5.50am to a text about the delivery slot for R and H's new washing machine.  I passed it on to them about 6.30am and then the men turned up at 7.15.  Only seemed to take about 10 minutes, am very grateful it went so smoothly and to the two men who carried it up to the second floor flat (and the broken one down again) and installed it.  Rest of the morning spent ordering boring, expensive but essential things like chimney lining and parts, replacement safety lights and batteries for the fire alarm system, etc.  Then after lunch had a really lovely couple of hours catching up with S and her two gorgeous collies.  It feels like the end of the season is in sight, still got the rally to get through but definitely on the home run.
