Towards Smardale Gill Viaduct

A walk with G beginning at Smardale Gill Nature Reserve, along the dismantled railway line, across the top of the viaduct, dropping down to Smardale bridge and returning along the east side of Scandal Beck (extra).  New area to me and delightful, despite the grey skies.  Very few people around.
We had a good catch up.

From here to Orton where we had tea and a cheese scone in the community cafe.  Tasty.
