Months are over in a day...

One sign of spring is a tropical Iris (Walking Iris) I have in my office flowers just before the end of classes. The flower buds are first visible around Valentine's Day, and then it takes its sweet time growing, expanding, developing, and then finally opening. The downside is that the blooms (easily one of the most beautiful Irises I have seen) only last a day. They often open early morning and are shrivelled messes by 3PM...

(Un-)fortunately two decided to open at the same time. This is a 42 image photo stack, that, although a little abstract, I think brings out the beauty of these blooms.
