Genghis

I helped out at an event for disabled children at the Zoo this morning, and set up tanks for Gecko's, cockroaches, a python and the biggest snails I've ever seen and then spent the morning supervising events.  Unfortunately we didn't get many visitors, I think they were more interested in being outside visiting our bigger animals. Once I'd finished my shift I had a quick wander with my camera and my Blip today is of Genghis one of our Bactrian camels. I love his expression :-)

After lunch I went round to visit Sue, one of our neighbours who I actually met at the zoo a few weeks ago, and we spent a lovely few hours in her conservatory getting to know one another. She's really lovely and hopefully Sue and her husband Kevin will come round to us sometime.

The exciting news that I got today was an invite for my Covid Booster as it's now over 6 months since I had my second dose and I've managed to book in tomorrow morning!
