Walk with me

Photos taken on my way home from the nearest bakkal (general store) this evening, having walked there for essentials once I'd finished online tutoring. Graham and Kat were walking Esra at the same time, and enticed Gece, who was intent on coming with me, to go with them in the opposite direction instead, so that I could sneak off without her following me and running in to the often very busy road (see my earlier blip here). Photos like this always remind me of just how 'in the middle of nowhere' I have been living since July 2020. Somewhat different from Istanbul.

Total cloud cover this morning was blown away by super strong (and rather cold!) persistent wind, revealing that autumn has arrived.  Temperatures mid twenties.
