Sun chokes and amaranth

Dan surprised me yesterday when he brought over this big bouquet from across the road. We have a big patch of sun chokes otherwise known as Jerusalem artichokes which flower so nicely with this yellow flower. They are really tall like sunflowers. This year we haven't had a freeze yet and they are blooming like crazy. Also some volunteer amaranth from across the way. At the moment the whole area has gone to weeds and I haven't been over there and didn't even realize these were blooming. I had to mess with the oil paint app and erase part of the effect to see how it looked. Kink of weird and cool... Thanks to Madowoi for helping out on this effect :-)
