The urge to get my shoes off when I got home tonight was greater than my initial appreciation of Bailey’s greeting. He came and sat alongside me to ensure that I had noticed him. It’s been a long day because of an open evening for prospective students. It was well-attended and worth the tired feet. Lots of students doing their bit too.

And Bailey was visited by his favourite people. Not that he fully appreciated the opportunity.
