Genealogy

It was raining. l had a lovely day playing genealogy and tackling the long standing question "Who exactly was great great grandpa who was naughty with great great grandma in 1863?" Not knowing leaves a nasty gap on the fan chart.
Thanks to the wonders of autosomal DNA testing I have narrowed this down to one (large) family, but there are a few candidates. 
I like the fact that they all lived and worked very near our favourite hotel in Perthshire which I blipped about last week. I had a great time last year in the local churchyard finding lots of family surnames on the gravestones. see extra.
Now it's a waiting game to see if any more DNA cousins from that family turn up.
