Kirkoswald Castle

Mr Bee and I headed north today to the tiny Cumbrian village of Kirkoswald, which is nestled in the lower Eden Valley. This tiny tower is all that remains of the original 13th Century castle , once owned by Hugh de Morville, one of the knights responsible for the murder of Thomas Beckett.
