A walk to blow away the cobwebs

It was Jan’s funeral yesterday at Grenoside Crematorium, which occupies a beautiful site above Sheffield and also has a very lovely chapel.  I managed to speak my part, though I knew it was my ending words that would get to me and then when they played the Aria from Madame Butterfly, well that was it! At least my part was over by then.

There were several artist/ printmakers there who I know but haven’t seen for a long time and we enjoyed sitting out in the sun at The Old Red Lion and catching up with one another.

It was a lovely event, Jan Memory Eternal.
