The Law
Not sure why we have never climbed The Law at Dundee before but today we did . We were goi g to go to the exhibition in the V and A bit it seems it’s closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Never mind, we toddled along the road anyway and popped into our favourite Cafe Empire State for a carry out lunch for the top. Doesn’t take long it’s 5km but steep and great for the glutes and we went at a good pace. The views from the top were superb, it was blowy though. I remembered Martin Compston being here in the drama Traces.
On the way down we stopped at this steep banking which was hanging with brambles and picked a whole paper bag full of them. The taste was the best I’ve tasted. Wild blackberries, no finer taste for Autumn. Must make a pie. And freeze some for my porridge.
Down for a happy birthday cake for Dave that got in Fisher and Donaldson. A chocolate fresh cream tower.
Delish.
