And another one bites the dust

I had planned to blip a photo of the stew/soup I made last night, but I looked out the window and saw this beautiful sky and had to share it.  I didn't perceive that much pink with my naked eye.

My crockpot has failed me and I will need to get a new one.  I've had it for a lot of years of good service, but figuring out which one to get now is difficult.  I know what size I want, and how much I'm willing to pay, but there are far too many  possibilities within those parameters.  In the end I was able to rescue what I was making in the crockpot, but that involved a very large pot that won't go in the dishwasher.  I had the stew for dinner and I was able to pump up the seasoning so that it tasted really good.
