A Gift, It Arrived......

Last night my bike friend and I went out for dinner.  It was the "first " nor knomal food I have had since I started on my dental adventure.  The gums are finally healed enough that I could eat.    
    Pam gave me a rubber wrist band that said  GREAT CYCLE CHALLENGE  FIGHT CHILDRENS CANCER.  She had purchased a dozen to give to the people who donated and me.    I was delighted to get one.  Since I don't have a Facebook page, I didn't know they were available.
       I also got a phone call.  My charger for the bike battery arrived today.  Since I was riding my  bike (7.1miles) I had to go home, get a shower before I could drive over to get it.   Right now the charger is getting it's first test......   It seems to be working like a charm!!!!!!

Miles left:  111, by Sept 30.   I am going to get the 111, and how many more I can log, beyond that.    It's unfortunate I lost  so many riding days, but it's all part of a Challenge.   I am fighting to find a cure for those children.
