Haiku in the Round
Worked on the peri urban project for East Midlands RPS and finally finished it and sent it off via WeTransfer late at night.
In the meantime, Basil and I went to Loughborough in the evening to meet up with others who were in the Haisolation Facebook Group, Paul and Gemma, the leaders had organised a gentle walk in Queens Park to stimulate our feeling for the poetry.
Back at The Emporium, we each read out out two haiku, penned in the park. It was a super idea and I look forward to meeting them all again in a month's time. It was the first time we had met face to face.

the fading light

venturing beyond the pond
crowds have gone
