Home from the sea

Went up Leith Walk for some messages, but after managing some of the shops I wanted to go to, totally failed to get across the Walk to Broughton St, since the pedestrian crossings are now so few and so poorly situated, generally involving a route march back the way you came. So for the time being, I shall only plan on visiting one side of Leith Walk, or the other. I find the TramsForNewhaven banners on the metal fencing saying "Thank you for your patience" patronising in the extreme.

Was pleased to see a cormorant back on the WoL after his summer out on the Forth.
