Buddha & Tree

A bit of still life today, not particularly well done as I has to reduce the size of the buddha and then had trouble getting the shadows right. If I had photographed them separately, life would have been a lot easier. The brass buddha comes from a holiday we had in Sri Lanka where I seem to remember it rained virtually every day. The tree/jigsaw was a present I received many years ago and it has graced our mantelpiece pretty well ever since. My knowledge of comparitive religions is a bit hazy but I do seem to remember that the Buddha received revelations whilst sitting under a tree. Please correct me if I am wrong.
