My eco-carpet
This is the new carpet in my office. It had to be laid as the old (1970s moss green) carper was rotten and mouldy due to a slow leak from the water heater.
This is laid in tiles using glue, the idea being that if one square gets worn or stained, it can easily be replaced. And it is made from discarded fishing nets! From beaches near threatened coral reef in the Philippines! I kid you not.
I think it is this company called Interface. Pretty cool I reckon.
And it doesn't smell at all fishy.
(Interesting that I was looking at the floor today, a year ago I was looking at the sky...)
