We booked tickets some time ago to coincide with a day I was going to be in London but of course all of that fell away in the way of these things.  We have some very bizarre going back to the office rules that means that we can’t all be there together so what I was going to do no longer made sense. But I kept in the lunch at Soho’s Noble Rot with Hilary and then worked in the street office (Soho Square this time) before going to meet V at the Tate in the late afternoon.

The exhibition was brilliant.  I have known her work for some time and it reproduces well but I’ve never seen a large exhibition and so many pictures at their true size and they were powerful, feminist pieces. Inspirational.
