The Long Drop

It's amazing what you find on the farm. Sixteen years I have lived here, and I've seen this old out house down by the shearing shed. I'd been told that it was used by the shearers in the days when we had a couple of hundred Ewes. It wasn't until Farmerboy and I went for a walk down to the Wool shed this afternoon, and he opened the door, that I saw inside. What an elaborate toilet for a long drop! Apparently it was out of the old house that use to be standing in the same place the wool shed stands today. I was expecting a rat to jump out at us! But no. The door has been shut for years - we sold all our Ewe's about 8 years ago.
