Arniston Bridge #2

I thought I better blip the next one to ensure a routine is established. This is Arniston bridge #2 and often appears on my journal, it is probably the most decorative and is at the heart of the sunken garden. #1 is up river to the left of the main photo. Arlo so loves the routine walk around this part of the garden playing frisbee and does pretty much the same thing each time, the only difference is which way the frisbee goes. I know dogs love predictable routines but it is surprisingly enjoyable for us too.

Despite having perfect skills chasing the frisbee, catching it and running back, his fetch and return skills are 50%. There's a part of the river where he always jumps down a slope, into the water, drops the frisbee and has a wee drink, while frisbee floats away. It takes a real effort to get him to pick it up and bring it back, I tried for several minutes and gave up but deciding to start taking photos of the bridge. After I had taken a few he runs across the bridge, frisbee in mouth. Which means unprompted, he's remembered where it was, ran back and "retrieved" it. I think he's making a fool of me!! It's the way he stands in the river as we point at it, he looks at it and does nothing, argggghh!

I did a recce of bridge #3, it's not easily noticed and surrounded by trees and bushes, but I think I've found a way in. Not sure when that will be as I am without car tomorrow.

I have to say, having a blip plan like this, when days are work/dog walk/work/dog walk is a bit of a relief, maybe I will do some other mini-projects.
