Waiting.....

...For One More Sail...

And the chances of that are looking more and more slim! The end of the season is nigh ..and the remaining days do not include good sailing weather! The forecast for every day from now until September 30 is rain rain rain... not good. And it started today. 

I woke up this morning to rain, cloud and high winds - not a promising day for fun at the cottage. There was, however, one fleeting moment of sunshine in the morning with just a hint of blue sky - the one and only opportunity to take a photo with some colour in it! So I did..take a photo, that is. My blip of the day..No big decision as to which it would be this time  - I had only two shots to choose from..one of lily pads drenched in rain, or this lovely little sailboat looking quite forlorn up on its cradle. 

So it was one of those days..spent mostly indoors doing the usual indoor things....a chance to cocoon, to indulge in treats and cups of tea while wrapped in a quilt with a good book or in front of the TV watching Netflix.. or perhaps knitting...A couple of days like that can be quite enjoyable but I am not sure about a 10 day streak of them! I can only hope the weather forecast will change over the next few days.  If not, it is a good thing I brought LOTS of books!  Blip-ops however, will be few and far between...
