Cake TT330

Not the birthday I'd have planned for him indoors but at least we didn't have to leave Finley home alone while we went out for a meal...

After our negative PCR tests, he did a lateral flow test yesterday evening in preparation for going to work this morning as he was starting to feel rather unwell. A feint positive line appeared so we've gone and had another PCR today. 

Hopefully it's just a false positive and he's got a stinker of a cold with flu symptoms... he's keen to go back to work having only started this new job a couple of weeks ago, but, no-one wants anyone in an office coughing and sneezing at the moment surely?! These new self-isolation guidelines are ridiculous and I sense a rather lonely Christmas for a lot of people again at this rate.

Now waiting for the chinese doorstep delivery and hoping he can taste it! 

We've already had some cake (including the tiny "smarties") with a cuppa for elevenses! :)
