Castle Fraser - So many turrets.

A glorious day at Castle Fraser. The day dawned cloudy and cool as usual. I was not to be fooled. I was sure the sun would be out before long, and so it was.

Despite the late season the walled garden is still looking very good. Better than Crathes in this season. At the entrance to the garden there were two stalls with fruit and vegetables for sale, together with an honesty box. Prices were shown on a small blackboard.

Sales may not have been great as there were again very few people around. Perhaps I was, like yesterday, a little too early. Plenty of gardeners around though. Not a bad day to be a gardener today.
