Haircut!

Robert took Archie out this morning, and we caught up with his energetic walking holiday in Croatia. One day his step count was about 25,000! And another day it poured the whole time - not pleasant. And some of the walks looked pretty scary - along narrow steep rocky paths with a sheer drop. However, he made it, and he credits Archie with helping him get fitter with all those walks up Blackford Hill over the past year.

Kevin our window cleaner came - he hasn’t been since we had the shattered pane, which was quite a long time ago, so the bay windows were in dire need of attention. We have secondary glazing, so it’s a wee bit bloomin’ awkward, but Kevin’s got it sussed, doing the outside of the inside pane and the inside of the outside pane systematically. In and out, up and down… He enjoys it (he says). They look splendid!

I then gave Archie a haircut - I’ve been working up to it for a while. It’s quite a long process, but he’s so good - just stands there and sighs every now and again.
