A selfie

I think I smeared enough vaseline on the lens to create a pleasing illusion. Sometime my selfies look awful, so I don't show you them, but this is okay. Earlier on I'd been out on a windy day which made my hair look like I'd stuck my fingers in an electrical socket. There was no beer available at the local shop as they are fitting a new chiller cabinet. I did what any rational person would do, and bought a bottle of wine. Does anyone know how you remove vaseline from a lens?
