Love to Dance

Stencil work at the Roman site at Labitolosa, thankfully on modern concrete rather than ancient stone. Not quite Banksy but I thought that it had some charm. I think that the Romans themselves were quite big on graffiti, so the tradition continues...

Very impressed by the site in terms of archaeology but perhaps more so by the fact that it is open to the public at all times, for free, and remains undefaced. Very accessible archaeology, if you can manage the climb up there.

To be honest, the site of the stairs after the long toil uphill was daunting. Still happy that we went.
