PHALAENOPSIS

....in colour.
Here is the Phalaenopsis I photographed on Sunday in mono.
I prefer it in mono, somehow.
It's a beautiful plant, to be honest I dislike the colour and the spots.
It was a gift from my sister in law.

Anyhow, I set it up on the balcony, in the sunlight.   
I liked the 'tongue' part and how it shines in front of the petals.

Thanks for all your hints in relation to the hay fever.  I think it's now developed into a head cold.   Blaaah!!   Played golf today and only hope I didn't spread it around.  There were a few out there with hay fever.  Fingers crossed no-one else catches what I have.
