Old flower for Tiny Tuesday

I was throwing this old dried flower head out but got a quick blip in beforehand. It was very intricate and soft in parts and very hard in other places. A clever work from Mother Nature. 

The predicted snow didn’t eventuate and we got about half a mm of rain. It was very chilly out today so I stayed in and did some reading.
