Headed off to the station (via coffee and donut) to get the train to Berwick on Tweed. Gorgeous sunny day with blue sky and fluffy clouds . Enjoyed walking around the walls and along the river , and out to the beach. The main street of shops seemed very run down and I failed to find the street of independent shops and cafes that I visited with S and A a few years ago. Got back to the flat and managed to finish reading the book for Ds book group this evening-was a pleasant easy read about an interesting topic. D reported she felt a lot better than yesterday- she looked it too! Headed off to Ms house for a delicious meal and birthday cake for Js birthday
