A lovely bright, but cold start to the morning. We had a walk at South Queensferry. The tide was out.

Steven and Lisa messaged us when they were on the ferry to Stornoway. Apparently they felt like they've stepped into "some weird alternative boat universe", as the ferry has numerous TV celebs and sports personalities on board.

Finished painting the side fence panels. Next job is the wall underneath it.
Boiler serviced in the afternoon. Heating on for the first time in the evening - just for an hour to take the chill off.
