Back into work today, starting a working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. I can’t say I was looking forward to it, and I can’t say it was a particularly good day either. I ended up with a stinking headache and was in bed very early. There’s a lot of change happening, and while I’d been hoping for a quiet day to try and catch up on email after the holiday, it didn’t work out like that and I feel like I hardly got any work done. But at least the weather was nice enough to eat my lunch outside and have a walk round the campus lake with a colleague, so it wasn’t all bad.
