Perfect Day

After a busy weekend I had today off to acclimatise to the new normal. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Was great to meet up with a friend I hadn’t seen in ages. Lunch in town followed by a great walk in the autumn sunshine.

I am now going to watch the 2017 version of Papillon which is on Netflix. As a precocious youngster I read the biography and loved it. Then years later saw the stunning original with Steve McQueen & Dustin Hoffman. Definitely a hard act to follow so I’ll see how they fare.
