Tap and sparkle.
A good morning’s ATN sing with a new song to learn and a revision of several we will be singing at a Steam Punk event in Haworth next month.
We then had our usual long drive down to Bath. Glorious sunshine all the way and no delays, we even arrived just ahead of our eta according to the Sat Nav. We went straight to the centre of Larkhall to the Oriel Hall where Eda has started doing tap classes on a Monday. She is the youngest in the class as they normally have to be school age but as she only misses out by a month they let her join.
She’s loving it, partly because her new friend and neighbour goes and ( mainly) because Grace got her some sparkly tap shies in the village charity shop.
We were able to peep in whilst the class was taking place and the blip us of her shining off her shies when she came out.
As she can’t yet go to school like most of her friends Grace has got her into several classes on her days off. As well as tap on Monday she is going swimming in the morning and then on Thursday afternoon she is going to a ballet class in the same hall.
It was still lovely in the evening so we ate outside. Amazing so
late in the year but I know it was just such another lovely day a year ago when we took Eda for a picnic to the NT property at Tyntesfield nr Bristol as we waited for the arrival of our lovely Jude who is one tomorrow!
