A Walk by the Canal

From Tavistock in West Devon you can walk along the course of the old Tavistock Canal. Sadly though, you cannot follow the canal all the way to Morwellham on the River Tamar. It is a very peaceful walk, lined with trees that are reflected in the water, and appear more dramatic as Autumn progresses. This morning there was a kingfisher on the canal - a bright flash of blue in a green world.
