Lune. Try 2

An oft quoted definition of stupidity is doing the same thing again and expecting different results.
But.
Daft as this trip was two weeks ago it was also fun in an obtuse and sociable way. And then D suggested we do it again, but longer. And we draft H into it.
Anybody local will know it hasn't rained at all.
So lower river, less paddling with a paddle, but more paddling of the other kind.
Lots of laughter.
Saw kingfishers.
Saw herons catching fish.
More laughter.

We'll probably do it again.
