Lake District Day 1

Isobel has gone down to London to visit the Chelsea Flower Show with Amy and Freya.

Stanley and I have gone in completely the other direction for a few days in the Lake District in the Van.

After a short delay caused by a faulty coolant warning light (!) we made our way through the traffic to Coalbeck Camp site, a short walk from Basenthwaite Lake.  After a 6 hour journey Stan had almost lost the will to live but I was forgiven when he saw, and swam in, the lake!
