After the harvest

The sky has been cloudless all day. It was fresh first thing but made it a lovely morning to be out walking. The farmer was very late in harvesting this wheat crop and most had fallen over so it was something of a surprise to find the bales casting long shadows.
Spent most of the day in the garden preparing for planting climbers to the pergola, with a trip this afternoon to the local nursery to buy an evergreen jasmine, which is now planted against one of the posts. It is already as high as the posts so it won't be long before it looks very settled in.
