Raspberries in Winter

I made these "Raspberry Friands" (a fancy name) this afternoon, as it was much too cold to go out !! They are rather delicious, made with ground almonds and frozen raspberries, and can be eaten warm as a pudding with some creme fraiche. Now they are in the freezer waiting for next weekend.
We had a new visitor to the bird feeders today - a nuthatch ! and I did snap a female blackcap - but it was not very clear.
Another Facetime chat with my little granddaughter today, although it took two tries from her end! "Granny, you didn't pick up your phone quickly!" she
said in that delightfully bossy way that four year olds can get away with!
