Generations

A year or so ago mum's aquarium was down to one lone fish, so I was sent out shopping for more. Stocks were low, and the shop ony had 4 suitable fish, so I bought 2 of them, but back home I was told I should have bought them all!  In the end it was a good job I didn't as within a few weeks tiny specs appeared which rapidly grew into baby fish.  The fish have been breeding ever since, and there are maybe 3, 4 or more generations in the tank.

After a major clean the water is now crystal clear so you can see them better. This one is probably 2nd generation, while the extra (if you look carefully) shows multiple generations.
